3 summer nail ideas
Whether you like a simple design on your nails or a more complicated one, both are perfect this summer. Whether your nails are long or short, a beautiful french or cheerful swirls are always a good idea. Get your favourite colours ready and let's start! These nail art ideas will give you some nail inspiration.
Mix & match
This summer, don’t go for one, but two colours on your manicure! Multi-coloured nails are very trendy. Combine your favourite summer colours, any mix is possible. We chose Selfgel colour Pink Punch & Orange Soda.
1. Always wash your hands before you start and prepare your nails with a mini manicure.
2. Take a PN Cleanser Wipe to carefully clean all nails.
3. Apply a small amount of PN Selfgel Prepper to all nails. Press the liquid into the nail with the application brush. Let dry for a few seconds. There is no need to cure it under the Selfgel LED lamp.
4. Apply 1 layer of PN Selfgel Peelable Base on all nails. Let it dry for 30 seconds. There is no need to cure it under the Selfgel LED lamp.

5. Apply 2 coats of Selfgel colour Pink Punch on the little finger, index finger and thumb. Cure each layer under the Selfgel LED lamp for 30 seconds.
6. Next, apply 2 coats of Selfgel colour Orange Soda on the ring and middle finger. Cure each layer 30 seconds under the LED lamp.
7. Finish your design by applying the PN Selfgel Finish and cure for 30 seconds under the Selfgel LED lamp.
8. Remove the remaining sticky layer from all nails with a PN Cleanser Wipe to reveal the brilliant shine.
EXPERT TIP! If you experience a heat sensation during curing in the lamp, use the 60-second low heat mode instead of the 30-second mode.
Stip it
With our Dotting Tool, designing beautiful nail art is super easy. Create the perfect dots for your summer nails.
1. Always wash your hands before you start and prepare your nails with a mini manicure.
2. Take a PN Cleanser Wipe to carefully clean all nails.
3. Apply a small amount of PN Selfgel Prepper to all nails. Press the liquid into the nail with the application brush. Let dry for a few seconds. There is no need to cure it under the Selfgel LED lamp.
4. Apply 1 layer of PN Selfgel Peelable Base on all nails. Let it dry for 30 seconds. There is no need to cure it under the Selfgel LED lamp.
5. Apply 2 layers of Selfgel Strawberry Cream and cure each layer under the Selfgel LED lamp for 30 seconds.
6. Then protect the colour with the PN Selfgel Finish and cure for 30 seconds under the Selfgel LED lamp.
7. Remove the sticky layer with a PN Cleanser Wipe to apply the nail art properly.
8. Use Selfgel Clear Sky and a Dotting Tool to place a dot at the base of each nail. Then place a slightly smaller dot above the first dot. You can create a difference in size by pressing harder or softer, or use both sides of the Dotting Tool. Cure for 30 seconds under the LED lamp.
9. Finish your nail art by applying the PN Selfgel Finish over your design and cure for 30 seconds under the Selfgel LED lamp.
10. Remove the remaining sticky layer from all nails with a PN Cleanser Wipe to reveal the brilliant shine.
Cheerful swirls
You might have seen them before but these happy swirls on your nails are totally hot. They can come in all shapes and sizes, and in every colour and colour combination. Make it your party!
1. Always wash your hands before you start and prepare your nails with a mini manicure.
2. Take a PN Cleanser Wipe to carefully clean all nails.
3. Apply a small amount of PN Selfgel Prepper to all nails. Press the liquid into the nail with the application brush. Let this dry for a few seconds. There is no need to cure it under the Selfgel LED lamp.
4. Apply 1 layer of PN Selfgel Peelable Base on all nails. Let it dry for 30 seconds. There is no need to cure it under the Selfgel LED lamp.
5. Apply 2 coats of Selfgel Strawberry Cream and cure each coat under the Selfgel LED lamp for 30 seconds.
6. Then protect the colour with the PN Selfgel Finish and cure for 30 seconds under the Selfgel LED lamp.

8. Use Selfgel colour Orange Soda and a small brush to draw a smooth curly line. Cure for 30 seconds under the LED lamp.
9. Then take a second and possibly a third colour, such as Pink Punch, to add more swirls. Cure each colour under the LED lamp for 30 seconds.
10. Finish your nail art by applying the PN Selfgel Finish over your design and cure for 30 seconds under the Selfgel LED lamp.
11. Remove the remaining sticky layer from all nails with a PN Cleanser Wipe to reveal the brilliant shine.
